This club is run in association with ‘I Bike’ - an innovative schools project funded by Sustrans and Perth and Kinross Council which promotes cycling, walking and scooting to school. I Bike empowers children, parents and teachers to travel actively, safely and confidently to school - encouraging exercise and reducing traffic congestion. This culture of active travel in schools results in safer, happier and healthier communities.

Here is some final important information about the club:

  • The club begins on Friday 13th March and will run during the school day every Friday for 4 weeks, the sessions are for any age and will be small groups of no more than 4 so we can cater for each child’s learning needs.

  • This club will be held outside in the school playground. Please therefore make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for spending the duration of the club outdoors. We highly recommend that all children have a pair of gloves with them.

  • If you have specified on your consent form that your child is bringing their own bike can you please ensure that the bike is in good working condition (tyres pumped up etc) before coming along to the club.

  • All participants will be required to wear a bicycle helmet to take part in this club. If you don’t have your own there will be an opportunity to borrow one from us.
