Over the last week, particularly last night Police Scotland have received various calls in relation to youths inside the derelict Royal Hotel building. They may be gaining access by climbing the fence at the back of Ericht Court.
Police Scotland have asked us to reitierate to pupils and for parents to reiterate likewise, that children should not be accessing this building. As it is thought this building may not be structurally safe and they don't want anyone within getting injured.
Police Scotland are trying to establish who the owners are, in order for the building to be made secure. Police and community wardens will be keeping an eye on the building in an attempt to keep the youths out.
